Introduction to Parre' Textile

Parre' Textile is led by David Parrett, a seasoned veteran with decades of experience in the high-end decorative fabric industry. With a diverse background and a deep passion for textiles, David brings a unique perspective to the company, having spent his career in sales, calling on interior designers and representing top brands in the industry.

David’s love for textiles began in his youth, inspired by his mother’s bold decorating choices. “She used a striking black-and-white houndstooth check on the love seats in the living room and selected a beautiful sailing print for my bedroom. I can still picture those spaces vividly today.” This early exposure to design left a lasting impression, shaping his career in textiles.

Unlike many in the industry who come from backgrounds in interior design or the arts, David’s career path is rooted in sales. He began his professional journey with Schumacher, where he participated in their renowned sales training program. There, he was educated in every aspect of fabric production, from printing to weaving techniques, building a solid foundation that would inform his approach to the textile world.

David’s passion lies in prints, which he believes have the power to transform a space. “Prints make a room sing,” he says. When considering new designs, he often reflects on whether interior designers would choose the fabric for a client’s project and whether the design will resonate with those who live with it. At Parre' Textile, comfort and color are the guiding principles in selecting fabrics for the collection, always with an eye toward creating timeless and livable design.

With a successful track record representing some of the finest fabric companies in the industry, David is now focused on expressing his own creative vision through Parre' Textile. The company reflects his commitment to quality, innovation, and the enduring beauty of well-crafted textiles.
